DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2024

The Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), a lab of DRDO based in Chandigarh has invited applications from eligible candidates under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 for engagement of Apprenticeship for one year of training in the various disciplines/ trades. The last date for submission of duly filled application forms is 22/03/2024.

TBRL has released the notification inviting applications for engagement as apprentices. The TBRL lab of DRDO falls under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. If the Candidates who want to pursue his/her career in defence manufacturing sector must carefully read the detailed Notification.

The last date to submit a duly filled application form is March 22, 2024. All the candidates are advised to fill out the forms way before the last date to avoid the last-hour rush.

While engaged in the apprenticeship program, the apprentices will be paid a salary of Rs 7700/- and Rs 8050/- depending upon the trade and discipline.

  • Candidates should be at least 14 years old
  • Candidates for Technician (ITI) Apprentice must have registered their names at the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal. i.e. apprenticeshipindia.org. and can apply through the portal only.
  • Candidates with post-graduation are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must be 10th pass
  • Candidates must have done ITI in a relevant trade or discipline
  • Candidates will be selected based on the percentage of marks obtained in their qualifying examination.
  • In case of a tie, the marks of the lower examination will be considered as a tie-breaker.
  • The selection board will carefully review applications and shortlist candidates for further steps.
  • Candidates are required to apply through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at apprenticeshipindia.org.
  • After applying, candidates are required to send scanned copies of all the relevant documents/certificates (10″ Certificate, ITI Certificate & Marksheet, Caste Certificate, ID Proof, etc.) in a single PDF file through e-mail to admintbrl.tbri@gov.in
