Plan of Written Examination:PSSSB Librarian Syllabus
The recruitment process for the Group-C post of Librarian under Advertisement No. 12 of 2024 involves a written examination. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the examination format:
- Format: The exam will be conducted in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format. Candidates will use OMR sheets to answer the questions.
- Duration: The exam will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Structure: The examination is divided into three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C.
Examination Details
Part A: Qualifying Test of Punjabi Language
Part A is a qualifying test that evaluates the candidate’s knowledge of the Punjabi language equivalent to the Matriculation standard.

- Marks: 50 (1 mark per question)
- Type: MCQs
- Note: There is no negative marking in Part A.
To move forward in the examination process, candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks (i.e., 25 marks) in Part A.
Part B and Part C: Combined Evaluation
