*NOTE: Total 03 Counsellors are to be empanelled in each district.

  1. Child Counsellor:
  1. Counselling of children and parents in custody matters, including joint custody/shared parenting.
  2. Assessment of parents’ ability to cooperate and agree on important decisions affecting the child’s welfare.
  3. Evaluation of each parent’s willingness to facilitate a close relationship between the child and the other parent.
  4. Jointly designing and implementing day-to-day care plans that foster stability.
  5. Assessing the child’s relationships with parents, siblings, and other significant individuals.
  1. General Counsellor:
  1. Counselling in matrimonial disputes, women and children’s matters, and issues involving senior citizens.
  2. Assisting couples in understanding the sources of conflicts and resolving them.
  3. Analyzing behavioral patterns of couples to identify core issues and facilitate dispute resolution.

Selection will be based on an interview/interaction where knowledge, experience, and expertise in the relevant field will be assessed. The State Authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on fixed criteria.

How to Apply:

  1. Submit the application form (Annexure A) to the office of the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, for the desired district.
  2. Applications should include attested copies of documents, including ID proof, date of birth proof, educational qualifications, experience certificates, and other relevant documents.
  • Candidates must not exceed 62 years of age as of the last date of application (29.02.2024).
  • The last date for submission of applications is 29.02.2024, until 05:00 PM.
  1. No TA/DA will be provided for interview/interaction.
  2. All announcements will be made on official district court websites and District Legal Services Authorities’ offices.
  3. Candidates should regularly check official websites for updates.
  4. PULSA and District Legal Services Authorities are not responsible for lapses in information retrieval.
